Ava Michelle, known for her role on Dance Moms, has recently ventured into the acting world, with her Netflix film Tall Girl. In the movie, Ava stars as Jodi Kreyman, a self-conscious 16-year-old girl who is 6’1 (and a half). It chronicles her life as the tallest girl in school, which is one of her greatest insecurities. Ava stars opposite Sabrina Carpenter, who plays her pageant queen older sister Harper Kreyman.
A Michigan native, Ava was a guest dancer of the ALDC “Select Team” in Lifetime’s hit TV show season 4 of Dance Moms, alongside Maddie Ziegler. She went on to So You Think You Can Dance, whereshe spoke out about being booted off the Lifetime series because of her tall height. Ava has gone on to take a major stance against bullying and constantly relays the message to her millions of social media followers.
