A CHILD has been arrested after a boy died following a horror incident in Kent.

Police were scrambled to Singlewell Road in Gravesend at around 5.45pm yesterday.

The boy was rushed to hospital but sadly he couldn't be saved and died shortly after.

Kent Police confirmed a second boy had been arrested but no further details on either of their ages have been released.

It is understood no weapons were involved in the horror, which is believed to be isolated.

Supt Nick Sparkes said: "Our thoughts are with the family and wider community impacted as a result of last night’s events.

"Police are working with partners to provide support to all the families involved and are not looking to speak to anyone else in connection with this incident."

Three police cars, an ambulance, the air ambulance and fire crews all attended the scene last night.

One witness told Kent Online it appeared to be a "big incident" but didn't see what happened.
