REAL Housewives of Miami Guerdy Abraira joined the cast of the hit show in season four.
Abraira tearfully revealed her stage one breast cancer diagnosis to fellow cast members in the second episode of the show's sixth season.

The Real Housewives of Miami star shocked her friends and co-stars by revealing her breast cancer diagnosis while dining at The Key Club in Miami.
In episode two of the Bravo show's sixth season, Champagne Confessions, Abraira is dining out with fellow RHOM stars Adriana De Moura, Nicole Martin, and Julia Lemigova.
Fighting back tears, Abraira said: "I went in for one mammogram. That turned into an MRI. That turned into one, two, three biopsies."
"And I'm just gonna say it, I have breast cancer."

Her co-stars expressed their shock but quickly rallied to support Abraira.
Martin said Abraira was going to "Guerdy-fy cancer," referencing the star's famous catchphrase.
The foursome then toasted to Guerdy beating cancer.
Fellow cast member Julia Lemigova's wife, Martina Navratilova, also recently battled stage one throat cancer and breast cancer, revealing her diagnosis in January 2023.

Navratilova announced she was cancer-free six months later in July 2023.
In a statement on her Instagram, Abraira urged her female followers to get health checks regularly, which she says was key in discovering her cancer early on.
“I am lucky that this breast cancer was discovered at an early stage – it is still scary of course, but I have love and support from those around me and that alone is the fuel that I need.”
“For those who do not get health checks regularly, I urge you to. Your life depends on it.”
Abraira announced she was cancer-free in November 2023 at BravoCon in Las Vegas.
"I’m cancer-free, officially!" she told a roaring crowd.
"I’m very excited, and I’m so blessed, and I literally wake up every morning counting my blessings and making it count."
